Watch: AAPI Mothers on Activism, Identity, and Challenging the Status Quo

To honor and maintain the momentum of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month — beyond the month of May — we wanted to revisit our conversations with the inspiring AAPI mothers in our community. We hope their stories and candid thoughts on family, activism, social media, and societal standards not only helps a mother out there feel less alone, but that it also helps all members of the AAPI community feel more seen in their shared experiences.

The more we take the time to listen to and acknowledge the stories of marginalized communities, the better we will understand one another — and evolve into a more equal, empathetic, and sustainable society where ALL voices are not only heard, but properly represented.
