Dominique Clayton is the founder of Dominique Gallery, an art gallery and project space. She also works as Manager, Founding Director's Office at The Broad. And when time permits, she pours energy into her true passion, writing. She's worked as a freelance arts and culture writer and a frequent contributor to LALA, Cultured, and Sugarcane magazines.

Before working in the arts, she spent over 10 years in film and television production, so she’s no stranger to bold career moves. Having dedicated a large part of her career to increasing representation in the media and the arts, Dominique is well versed in open and sometimes challenging conversations around diversity and inclusion. She's sensitive to her sisters of color and understands how important it is to protect and support their space and their intellectual and emotional labor. Additionally, she believes it's important for them to take a break and let others do that work on their own, as it's exhausting enough being on the receiving end of discrimination.
