What do you do and what led you to this career?
I work as a stylist at elyse walker in Pacific Palisades. I never thought this would be my path, but 11 years later, I’ve grown so much and have met the most amazing people that have helped shape me as a person.
What is the name and age of your child?
My son’s name is Indy Elliott, and he’ll be 2 in October!
What has been your biggest career achievement thus far?
Having the opportunity to help buy for the store with elyse walker in Paris, while also getting to attend fashion week to see all of the shows.
What is the most rewarding aspect of being a mother?
Waking up everyday and seeing my amazing boy. I dreamed of having him for so long and finally made the decision to become a mother on my own. It is the best, most rewarding adventure of my life.
And what is the most challenging?
Balancing being a working single mom and feeling okay with telling clients no. Indy comes first now. For so long I put my career as number one and now that I have Indy my attention has shifted for the better.
What is your best advice for someone new to your industry?
It can be tough, but if you stick with it, it can be the most rewarding career. You meet amazing people and every day allows you to be creative and grow.
What is your best advice for a new mother?
To embrace each and every minute. I was told how fast time will go and it has never been more true. My baby is now a toddler!
What's next for you? Do you have any exciting projects coming up?
Not sure what is on the horizon for me. I take each day as it comes and try to create the best life for Indy and I all while being open to whatever comes our way.
