Dewberry Designs the Coziest Kids Bedding That's Also Certified Organic

When it comes to shopping for our little ones, we’re always looking for sustainable brands across fashion, skincare, diapers, and even baby gear to ensure that we’re investing in products that are good for our family while also being good for the planet. One often overlooked category is kids bedding, which is where Dewberry steps in.

Although it’s always tempting to reach for the latest cartoon-printed sheets and pillowcases for our child’s bedroom, it’s worth noting that the fabric is inexpensive for a reason and often contains harsh chemicals that may affect your family over time. That’s why Dewberry is a game-changer, as they take the guesswork out of searching for sheets that help us all rest easy. Bonus: It’s a mom-founded company.

Dewberry is a kids bedding company founded by two moms seeking premium, direct-to-consumer kids bedding crafted from high-quality, non-toxic materials in ethical facilities without any green-washing gimmicks. Dissatisfied with the market's offerings, which were primarily limited to crib bedding, Dewberry recognized a gap for a sustainable brand catering to children over three years old.

The result? Super cozy bedding made of GOTS-certified organic cotton, weaved into exceptionally soft fabric that is ethically produced in Guimarães, Portugal. To simplify shopping and make it affordable, Dewberry chose to bundle their bedding into pre-matched sets, including two pillowcases, one fitted sheet, and one duvet cover.

Our founder Natalie took Dewberry’s full-size bundles for a test drive in the rooms of her two children, 5-year-old Rio Rose and 8-year-old Diego. While she was admittedly worried that her little ones would miss their lovingly tattered bedding printed with their favorite characters, she was surprisingly met with big smiles, as the kids instantly felt pride in their new, “big kid” bedding.

Rio loves her sweet Chamomile Bloom bundle while Diego is hooked on his cool Cosmic Triangle bundle. Patterns are applied using OEKO-TEX® certified safe dyes, free from toxic and harmful chemicals. Even the buttons on the duvet cover (which fit perfectly over the kids’ existing duvet blanket, by the way) are sustainable, as they’re made of a 100% natural raw material: the Tagua tree nut, or Corozo. (Fun fact: Corozo buttons are environmentally friendly as they can only be produced from a ripe nut, which has naturally fallen from the tree.)
