We Went to Baby DJ School at the Brand New Nordstrom Century City

In honor of the new, gorgeous, next-level Nordstrom Century City, last weekend we toasted the legendary department store's latest location with a members-only brunch and dance party. Nordstrom surprised us with an epic donut wall, which our #FashionMamasKids promptly devoured. Parents enjoyed coffee and bites while the little ones wiggled around the dance floor to DJ Annie Wonder's beats. Then it was time for her acclaimed Baby DJ School — and it was like nothing we've ever seen!

All of our FM families gathering around to experience Annie's brilliant skills and creative ways of teaching our little ones about the DJ experience, guiding them through each of the terms and tools, and the sounds that make it all happen. It was cute but not "cutesy" — she created beats and played sounds that even us big kids found ourselves nodding our heads to. And there were props — from mommy-and-me class favorites like scarves and a parachute — in addition to Nordstrom-branded balloons that the kids had a blast waiving around. We highly recommend booking Baby DJ School for your next party or having your babes take a private class with DJ Annie Wonder.

More on the new Nordstrom Century City: the store design is a new concept, with modern updates and lots of natural light. Perks include curbside pickup, two-hour delivery, reserve-and-pickup via the Nordstrom app, and personal stylists ready to help curate your dream closet. In fact, our very own FMLA member Miriam Sternoff-McKnight is their resident stylist extraordinaire.

Thank you Nordstrom CC for the perfect morning, and for the super chic Honest diaper/everything backpack you treated all of our members to on their way out!
