Fashion Mamas LA Turns Two!

As mentioned in this Instagram post, the first-ever Fashion Mamas event took place on December 16, 2014. Our founder's son was just three months old then, and there were only 10 members, all incredible women who believed in FM's unique mission of connecting influential mothers who specifically work in fashion and creative industries.
To celebrate two years of memories (and a growing roster that now includes more than 300 women — check out our #FashionMamasMembers feed to meet them all!), on December 16, 2016 we hosted our annual #FMLABDAY bash at The London West Hollywood. Just like last year, the event was both a luncheon and gifting experience as a big thank-you to our loyal members. Sweetgreen provided healthy salads, The Bouqs offered festive DIY bouquets, Glamsquad hosted a braid + waves bar, Base Coat Nail Salon hooked up manicures, Munchkin gifted colorful baby products, Monrow handed out its essential sweatshirts and hoodies, and Coordinates Collection came equipped with its iconic ion bracelets in an array of colors.
As part of our #FashionMamasGivesBack initiative, the day also featured a Toys For Tots donation bin coordinated by FMLA member Meridith Layne of Coveted Things.
It was definitely a day to remember. Thank you for all your support over the past two years; we can't wait to share what we have in store for 2017!
